Hello.

I am a boy of 19 years of age.

I guess that's how I can begin this mercilessly sad tale of my existence. I have taken it upon myself to create a blogger account. Thought it might be fun.

There are things you might want to know about me.

I have 4925 songs on my computer (a 17" G4 Powerbook OSX 10.3.9), which is not quite a Tiger, more of a Panther type. Anyway, people call me JP, but my full name is something else. And I actually feel okay saying stuff about me.

I'm looking to form a band.

Something like that.

after. The 80s were amazing. You quite possibly
have huge hair, and may wear lots of black.

I like a lot of bands. Mainly along the lines of some metal (Tool, A Perfect Circle), some prog rock (Marillion, Pineapple Thief, Porcupine Tree, The Mars Volta, Yes, Coheed and Cambria, Pink Floyd), some goth rock (Bauhaus, Fields of the Nephilim), some electronica/dance (Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, Autechre, Bjork, The Chemical Brothers, The Faint, Scissor Sisters, and Squarepusher), some post punk (The Fall, Joy DIvision, Magazine, and stuff like Radiohead, The Beatles, David Bowie, Guns N' Roses, Jeff Buckley, Led Zeppelin, The Police, Queen, R.E.M., Damien Rice, Lowen and Navarro, Bad Religion, Beck, The Clash, The Cure, Death Cab For Cutie, The Flaming Lips, Japan, Modest Mouse, Muse, Nirvana, Pixies, The Ramones, The Redwalls, Sigur Ros, Smashing Pumpkins, The Verve and The Unbelievable Truth.

Although I probably forgot some in my haste.

I play guitar, am trying out both rhythm and lead, as well as making weird noises; I also play piano and do vocals, and want to be lead vocalist whenever I do form a band.

That's all there is to know about me at the moment. I'll continue to add more stuff so you can look past what I've said thus far.
